First of all, Braden turned FOUR YEARS OLD and celebrated his birthday with family and friends at Chuck E Cheese. He's a very funny boy, but also full of attitude and defiance. Just ask his daycare provider. Both of us are at our wits ends some days to try to get him to follow instructions. But he's independant and a clown so hopefully the defiance is just a phase... don't burst my bubble, I am going to keep hoping. :) Even if its for the next 20 years.
Kelsey is loving life with her new cell phone and I am very proud that her 25 dollar card lasted the entire 3 months!! I'll admit, I kind of like her having it. She is allowed more freedom in the neighborhood, such as longer bike rides because I know she can get ahold of me in a second if she needs to or I can call her and tell her it's time to come home. Hmm... how did we survive as kids without cell phones? She was also able to take a day off of school and go down to Great Wolf Lodge water park for a friends birthday.
Aside from that, Scott and I have been working on the house. HAH... I say *we* but the only thing I can say I actually did was help paint the bathroom. He's been busy redoing the floor in the laundry room, running gas lines for the new dryer (umm... the one I got 2 years ago that is still sitting in the garage) and also updating the main bathroom. Which now looks AWESOME! At some point I hope to get him out to the yard to do some of the work that has been sitting for the last year and a half, but one thing at a time I suppose.
I've continued to play soccer twice a week at the indoor soccer center and love it. Although sometimes leaving the house for a 9 or 10pm game is difficult on a thursday night the exercise is worth it. Both Braden and Kelsey start sports again within the next month so watch for pictures!
